Pray with Thanksgiving: 1 Peter 4:10 “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”
Pray with joy for God involving us: Second Corinthians 9:6-8 “The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.”
Pray with contentment in God’s promises: Matthew 6:19-21 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Pray with transparency: Philippians 4:4-7 “Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
